      Hi

Heres a very good question, if i draw 4 lines, all independant, then move each line to connect with the other (resulting in a 4 sided closed box) i can then group this, however how do i create a "face" between these lines so i can then "push/pull" the face to 3d?

This goes for importing as well, i have saved a design (2D) from Corel Draw, saved as DXF, imported (it imported fine) then grouped all lines, but theres no "face" meaning i cant created the 3D object...

      Many Thanks

If its quite a simple piece of linework, as in your first example, you can just drawover one of the lines and the face will appear.

If it's more complicated, as with your second example, there is a handy little script called make faces that will find all the faces for you: http://www.smustard.com/script/MakeFaces

          You da man 😍

However i seem to have something already in 7 called "Create Face" under "tools>utilities", this worked when i selected all sides, then selected this, a face appeared and i can now make it 3d πŸ˜„

          Many Thanks

Yes but it's generally more cumbersome (slower) than just drawing over a line.

            Gai...
