    Meaning of Triangle on Materials?

      This is probably a dumb question, but what exactly does the triangle on a material mean in the Materials dialog?

        It means they are in use. If the material is not in use anywhere in the model it won't display that triangle.

          You'll find the same in the component list of your model.

            Ah yes, that was about the only thing I could think of (after I posted, of course.) Thanks. I don't see it on my Components, though.

                😲 I've never realised they were for this. In fact, I have (probably) not even noticed those triangles.

                    Maybe the triangles are another solution to a problem that really doesn't exist. They don't disturb me, either, but if the feature disappeared, I doubt if I would notice.
