        Hi Normeradona
Is soft shadows really part of the next Podium release?

Exaggeration makes a dull story better.

dont think so. based on my knowledge. the next one would be supporting blurry reflection. its kinda a cool.
here i only use the workaround created by TBD how to produce soft shadow using sun. but this one is always depend on the location of sun and how far the object to the area where shadow are being cast. i guess its more on playing really the proper location of the sun. as for the omni, i think tut3d had made a good tutorial on how to have soft shadow with them.

Awesome images and Photoshop work! In image three in your first post, is that bump or displacement used on the red textured backing on the art pc? I have been finally putting some time into V-Ray lately and am actually getting it. Great stuff Nomer!

                                        Cheers,

thanks frederick. i think the specularity was brought more because of the affect specular by the rectangular lights. i think i could see that. thanks for pointing it. β˜€
