Awesome images and Photoshop work! In image three in your first post, is that bump or displacement used on the red textured backing on the art pc? I have been finally putting some time into V-Ray lately and am actually getting it. Great stuff Nomer!
          Cheers,
          Jeff
hi jeff, its actually a bump. i used the normal map by bunkspeed (hypershot) on that particular scene... using normal map on the bump slot is much better than black and white bump based on my experience with both vray and hypershot. yeap indeed once you get the hang of vray, it will be pleasure, the quality and speed factor of this soft is there. remember the initial learning curve is a bit steep but once you conquered the initial slope the remaining is not that steep anymore. so goodluck jeff/

On this perfectionistic environment, well it's perfect and peaceful. !
                      Two notes,

                      • these are probably your own paintings and they look more interesting to me than any render engine.
                      • This shadow casting, there's some inconsistency on this, no, some unnatural phenomenon. Too blurred effect indicating that sun is near us. Too close...

thanks michalis.. no those paintings are not mine they are hai's a friend. I am not sure about how vray sun works. all i did was to increase a bit the size of the sun. But one thing i notice, when the object is far from the area where the shadow is being cast then its blurry. The further it is the more it becomes blurry.

Michalis, btw my paintings has evolved again into another direction. I am setlling with this using woman as generalized subject infusing "alibata" our pre-colonial script. I am using lots of architectural related material like sand, cement putty, coats that protect stell from rusting, waterproof materials to create texture.

                            Nice!!!

About renders: These are peaceful environments, I could live there. Though rather a chaos in my home LOL, dogs etc. But not really.
You could try some SSS on this plant. And a smaller sun. Too blurred shadow casting from the sun tends to look a bit unnatural in some cases. An emitter could work, but I don't know much about vray. All my knowledge is about Cycles.

in vray i think the sun size can make all those shadows sharper. A value of 1 means completely hard shadow. I think I used a value between 3-5 here. I think you are right with those plant. In vray double sided work as fine to give translucency. thanks for that.
