THE Ironman

No comment - just watch the vid.

I'd better say nothing, I have a tendency to be insulting, cynical and downright heartless, not to mention the fact that I'm an atheist.
I know of this documentary, this is just a compilation music video of the documentary where a father grants his disabled son his wish to participate in an ultra marathon, I never did watch it and never will.
If I may enquire, you too have no comment, what was your motivation in posting this then?

I didn't want to involve God in this - either if there is one or not and if was "inspirational" here or not, it's almost all the same from the point of view of that kid. He got something he couldn't have otherwise even dreamt of.
A great father. That's it (now there wasa comment).

Very impressive for the pure physical difficulty, if nothing else.
-
It shows that a lot of people can do great things because they are human and have the will - nothing else is needed...
It shows there's no need for God to achieve such things, but then again no need not to have God either - works either way...
-
Did some one just pull the God card?
Sigh, not one of those long threads again.....
-
No Chris, as I said I didn't have the intention of involving God in this topic.
Yes; sigh...
