That is fairly pricey. Pretty niche product though, and i suppose they want to make some money from it.

I have a friend in the UK who, in the 70s, worked for a company that was developing CAD software that they expected to sell for £100,000 a copy. Just wait a little while and the price will come down.

The software would probably refuse to connect to the Internet with your current cheap Ethernet cable. I think you'll need this one:
