Okay, the on line help says "use select tool and edit text"
in most all cases that works, but I have a text that I cannot highlight, it is on every page, imports to Layout, and I do not know how to get rid of it, how to edit it nor how to "find where it lives".
I cannot highlight it to get entity info...
it seems that it is some "super overriding document name/text"...what do I do?
      thanks

Probably be best to upload the model. If you need, make a copy of the model. Then delete all unnecessary geometry to make it smaller.

PS. I haven't forgotten about your request for more info on scene management. I just haven't gotten around to it. Maybe this week I'll get a little video put together.

Are you in LayOut or in SU?

Note that you cannot edit SU entities in LayOut so if it's a sceentext in SU and you sent it to LO,you'd better edit your SU model instead of trying it in LO.

Hey, thanks for the quick reply,
I am in SU, I see other issues within text for LO, I will endeavor to sort those out,
it is the errant text issue that I still do not know how to resolve.
Here is a zip file of the "project"
I still have significant "outliner" issues to understand / work thru.
If you have any insights there, it would be most helpful too.

the odd text is in a group called E.WallsAll..
you can edit that group and erase it..

Wow, I could not highlight it, therefore it made it difficult to find. I went back to the outliner, and found it, probably as you have.
The organizer seems a key component in making the model work efficiently, I am still trying to figure how to do that.
thanks so very much for you help and insights.
If you have any outliner insights I would be most interested in furthering my knowledge.
