      Hi,

Often when working in a large model, I will divide the parts into separate components, edit them separately, and reload them in the main model. This main model has all the views that I've picked out saved. Sometimes it would really help to be able to see the separate components from the same view while I'm editing it.

Also, sometimes I want to take a model that's been worked, and re-worked, so often that its accumulated too much stuff and copy part of it to a new file and start fresh. I would like to be able to take the scenes as well. I know I could just delete everything in that model but what I want, but the copy paste option is faster.

Anyone found any plugin, or other way to bring all your scenes, or certain scenes from one model into the next?

      Thanks in advance...

I haven't used it, but smustard has a script for this. Page importer/exporter. It can be found here:

I'm not sure if there are any free ones out there.

A free workaround would be to take the model containing the scenes you got, save a copy of it, delete everything, then import your other model and position its origin to match.
