wowww, your models are really amazing. I'm trying for 15 minutes to find something in your models that is not perfect, but i fail.
Congratulations, maybe you should model and the ants running in the grass areas outside the building. (hahaha).
Oh by the way, are you an architect or a designer? -
Excellent!

Actually, no have 100% perfect in any perspectives.
What we can do just try as best as we can in suitable time frame.
I am architect, but i prefer to call myself as designer.
The word "designer" has wider in meaning and scope.
Not only building or interior but others ie. graphic, products, fashion etc.
I'm so appreciate ur comment, I may put some ants running in my next pic, hihihi.

Millions Thk to sketchup. -
great models. the detail is indeed admirable.
I have to admit though, that for my taste it is almost too much detail for straight SketchUp export. with so manny lines and objects the images easily get a bit crowded and 'noisy'.
of course I know that is not what you want - but with this level of detail you could produce some breathtaking renders... -

Absolutely agree with u, so I need to select only some pics to rendering.
I'm quite have different view from most people that admire in realistic rendering.
But I prefer non-rendering style, more art looking, which made from sketchup.
However, in my style, some pic still need to be render, not for make it real looking but illumination effect.
Big thk for ur comment,plot-paris -

yeah that would be something really useful - being able to place light sources within SketchUp...

Great job!

I admire the model work...great quantity..great quality!! Startling example of what can be achieved with native Sketchup. Some edges and colors could be softened but that is a matter of taste. Thanks for showing us all...cheers!!
Sketchup is my dream 3D program i ever seen.
So powerful but friendly.
I'm so glad that u like my SU work.
Thks for ur opinion, modelhead.@tinanne said:

Hey, i've got a question. Where can i find the delineated style in sketchup?, so i can use it and see how it works.

Wow, I so glad to answer this question
Most of 3D programs focus to make 3D objects as most real looking as they can.
of course, most people like to see.
Refer to nowaday technology, many 3D programs reach to that objective already.
I have no doubt how much close to the real object they can do anymore.
However, some of user prefer art looking than realistic one.let's find some meaning of the word "delineate"
1.To draw or trace the outline of; sketch out.
2.To represent pictorially; depict.
U will realize that,
Native Sketchup are already provided features for create art looking work in many way.
No need to find anywhere, if u use Sketchup
u r already got the most powerful program to delineate any 3D objects in ur hand.
hope u enjoy in SU, sketchup_fan -
LOL, Sam, I love your enthusiasm. It's wonderful!

Wow...Incredible modeling!
Just to clarify...as I understand your work is all "pure sketchup" with no additional rendering? The pieces of art are carried by scene composition, extraordinary level of detail in your modeling and your color choices?
Would you mind sharing what your line edge style settings are for your drawings?
I'm going to take a guess that they are very simple..again you color and detail carry the drawing. Thanks for sharing..inspiring work!

http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=17169&p=136618#p136618Reply ur question, u r right again, line style i use very simple, as following:
At window manubar/styles
-Architectural Design Style
then in sub-menubar/ edit
-check display edge, extension value is 2, endpoint value is 7
-uncheck profile, depth cue and jitterhowever, when u export pls note that final result become different looking between
1.use SU-layout to export
2.directly export to any raster format i.e. jpg.the size of picture, i mean pixel dimension, also provide different line effects,
u should try until reach the final result u prefer.
Enjoy ur SU -
