Hello...new to this forum and SU as well...I am SUing a two story house an was looking for some tips...the first has to do with the two floors...I have built them seperatly, then placed one on top of the other. Is this the best way to do this, or should I be using another process...my other problem has to do with an oppening for stairs...how do I put an oppening in the floor of the second story/ceiling of the first story for the stairway? I have tried to give the floor/ceiling value and then push/pull it, but that doesn't seem to work.
I'm sure I'll have many more questions soon

      TIA

First of all. Forgot that stairs and start with basics. Draw walls put holes(windows and doors) in there.

Using the select tool (looks like an arrow), select the surface and hit delete on your keyboard.

Either that or I'm really not understanding the problem.
