Plugin Hunt--Scene Copy
-
Shhhh. Be vewy, vewy, quiet. I'm hunting pwugins.

I thought one of our intrepid Ruby geniuses wrote a plugin to copy a scene and hopefully its contents from one SU session to another. I've hunted through Smustard.com, Jim's blog and Didier's library but didn't find it. Am I correct that something like this exists?

How about PageExIm by Rick (at Smustard's)?
It won't copy the geometry itself but there's Copy> Paste in place nowadays...(Note that "Scenes" used to be called "Pages" until SU 5)
-
Thank you Gai.
Yes, I remembered that "Scenes" used to be "Pages". Once in awhile I still slip up when I'm talking to a new SU user and call them pages.

I was looking for something with "copy" in the name and went right by Page ExIm.
Thank you again.
So, I wonder what it would take to make the plugin copy the entities, too.

That first post is really funny
.
Thanks for that.
Good that you found what you were looking for. -
Dave, it sounds sort of like me tutorial helper script.
-
Kwistenbiebel, I'm glad you enjoyed that.

Jim, will your plugin work to go to a different SketchUp session?

No, interesting idea though.
