Plug Ins
-
I cannot find the Plug-In menu anywhere on my menu bars. Where do i access plugins i have downloaded for version 7.0 mac OSX?
-
Hi Joe,
Where did you install your plugins?
-
Hi Skinman, each plugin can choose where to install itself. They don't all go into the plugins menu. The plugins menu will only appear after you have installed a plugin that is set to install itself to that menu. So if you installed makefeaces.rb, it actually ends up in the Tools menu. drop.rb ends up in the right click menu, and not in the regular menus.
So dig around and you'll probably find what your looking for in another menu. If you cant find it still, let us know what plugin it is and we'll help you.

the pluin is: Weld 3.0, file name: weld.rb
I still cannot locate the single plug-in tool or any sort of indication of a menu where it may be.

Well, weld goes to the Plugin menu - so where did you install it?
-
Plug-in Folder inside of Sketchup Application
-
Here?
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Google Sketchup 7/SketchUp/Plugins
-
Ah. I had it in Macintosh HD/Applications/Google Sketchup 7/SketchUp/Plugins
Should that do it?
-
Try the above (note I'm on PC so never trust me
)
-
Awesome. It worked. Thank you much.

Another Question if you have time. I imported a DWG into sketchup. A bunch of contour lines. it came into sketchup as segmented individual lines rather than composed lines. Any idea how to avoid this? Hence my need for the weld plugin.

You got the answer in the other topic you started about this.
