Interior shadow problem

Hello,
Any ideas on why the shadows look like this?
#1 & #2 both have same day/time settings, I just turned a little for #2.
I also noticed that very small changes to the day/time give very strange results.

Welcome to the dreaded Shadow Bug. This happens when your viewpoint passes in the shadow. It is a known bug in SketchUp and does not have a foreseeable fix. It comes down to legal rights to a certain algorithm (correct me if I am wrong).
One workaround is to place your viewpoint in the light entering a window or make a section cut and take your viewpoint from outside the building.
