      Hi Guys
I'm a pixelhog, so I want as many pixels on the screen as possible.
People with my "symptoms" like Jim custom toolbar plugin - so thanks!

I can't seem to disable the new sketchup 7's"google toolbar" at the bottom of the screen, giving credits to the modellers and the measurement box, which can now be moved freely.
Has anyone tried the same and found out if it really is impossible?

        Hi,

No,you cannot disable it (actually thet's not the Google toolbar itself) The status bar (which it is) cannot be disabled - neither it could be in SU6 where the VCB is). The best is IMO to keep the Measurement box in there o that it won't occupy further space.

        Gai...

That is nonsense! Of course you can disable it if you got the tools that is. Just download the Developer's Tools from the Apple site and use the interface builder to customize the interface and menus to your liking. It is so simple that no manual is required.

The next time you think something cannot be done. Think again.

Unfortunately no as I never had the need to rearrange the menus around for the Windows version. The only reason I was doing it for the Mac version is because Leopard has to use the latest version and the new menu arrangement for version 6 really slows me down.

Well, HellFire, since we don't know if Kemon uses Windows or Mac, your solution for Mac is rather academical for us, puny humans with Windows (but at least what I wrote is not a "nonsense" for Windows and most probably ❓ for the person asked).

So back to your solution; "of course you canNOT disable it if you HAVEN'T got the tools..." πŸ˜‰

Good; the next time I'll think of asking you first. (Thank God this is not a Mac-Hack forum... πŸ˜• )

On the other hand, I could (should) be glad that I learnt something new - and I generally am... πŸ˜’
