How do I reset the axis of the DC Marvin window component?

It snaps to about an inch outside the wall I place it in. That's fine for frame construction but I want to inset it as I am putting in a masonry [corrected] wall.

      Any ideas?

      Cheers!

I would have thought if you double click on the component you would see where the axis location is and you could move the parts so the point that is correct?

          make,

open the Component Browser dialog, right-click on the component and select the Reset Insert Point option from the pop-up menu.

          Hi

            Thanks, I'll try it.

Next, how do I get the wall opening on the inside without having to draw it? Or do I just have to draw every single one?

            Thanks!!!!

Unless sketchup change in v7 it never cuts the opening on the inside

No,it hasn't changed. A component can only have one gluing/cutting plane at a time (since the axis szstem defines it and there can only be one axis system at a time). There are workarounds but not an ultimate solution.

                Gai...
