Hi everyone, I'm using SU for all my planning needs in my house. I'm about to lay out new electrics in my house and of course would like to use sketchup for this.
We use something called "corrugated plastic pipe" here in Norway to pull cables in the walls. See the picture attached. Are there an easy way to make this "dynamically" in SU? Ex. I'd like to draw curved lines and get it to look like the pipe in the attached image. Or do I have to model it everytime I want to use it to lay out the internals in the walls?

      Thank you.

If youve got the pro version of SU7 you might be able to do this using dynamic components. It probably isnt a particularly good idea, though, as you will vastly increase the poly count of your model which will slow SU down a lot. It would also take quite a while to get the whole thing working using DCs.

A more workable solution might be to use a pipe to represent this tubing and then use a texture to make it appear corrugated. This would mean you could draw the whole thing in using the follow me tool, which will save you a lot of time.
