Would it be possible a plugin or script that when we exported of the 3dsMax in ".3ds" load with the file the textures? I want that because a lot of times we exported some objects of the 3dsMax and they leave of there mapped perfectly. Some other applications get to receive the file ".3ds" and when they carry him, they connect the textures as they were mapped in the 3dsMax. And to do the mapping in Sketchup is an as much as unpleasant or impossible.

SU should load the textures automatically, but all the textures has to be in the same folder as the .3ds file.
And all the .3ds format only allows for texture files with the old 8.3 naming conversion. If your textures doesn't follow this file naming conversion the textures won't load as 3DS truncates the file names upon export. Should give you a warning about this.
