Will this be the final stain in the Bush era??
I find it amazing, that a president with such a history for bloopers and mistakes, to have the ultimate incident just days from his departure.

The "ultimate incident"??? WTF were you watching? Someone threw shoes at him, he ducked so the shoes missed him.

It just gets a little tiring when any and every incident is used to bash someone. If you want to laugh at someone throwing a shoe at George Bush then fair enough. But don't try and make out that Bush is in any way to blame for this, which is what you did.

Whether or not Bush is to blame for having a shoe thrown at him, is a question of opinion. Whether or not it is socially acceptable to call someone who doesn't share your views an idiot, is not.

Ehm, I see the point you are making, but on the other hand how many people threw things at Bush before the Iraq War? I don't think anyone should go around physically attacking anyone else (whether with shoes or missiles), but Bush's unpopularity is pretty much a result of his and some of his close colleagues' actions, or rather the actions which they sent American soldiers to carry out.

As for the Iraqi journalist, I think that's taking the principles of gonzo journalism a bit far... just undignified and unprofessional.

I was against the invasion of Iraq. I felt that the argument for the invasion was so flimsy it was a joke. But it wasn't just Bush and his close circles decision, it went to a vote and the politicians of the US voted to go to war. Barrack Obama voted to go to war. The politicians of Great Britain voted to go to war.

How did he do that? he was not in the senate in 2002.

No he did not vote to go to war, that was even part of his election campaign.
