Very stressing problem

Hello there. Escuse my english, but i am romanian. I have two problems. Please help me. First one: Why, when i want to make a surface doesn't work, or is working but it's making just a half of the surface, like in this picture. And the second problem, how can i zoom to be very very near of the project (house), because i cannot approach to see if there is another line(bad one). ? Thank you very much and please help me.

You have some hidden lines in your model...
Go to "View" (menu) > "Hidden Geometry" to see them, because such of elements are against your 'constructive' intentions!
For zooming to selection, you can use different plug-ins:
"zoom_selection.rb", "zSel.rb" or "zoomsel2" -
Maybe the half_surface problem is because it is not a proper rectangle, I mean that there are two planes to draw instead of just one.
So check if it is or not.
About the second problem, you must be able to zoom with you wheel in the mouse.

Wheel in the mouse:) Funny....with this advice must be the answer: "But i don't have a mouse". Thank you anyway. -
