really amazed!
i try to figured out what you eat?
you are genius!
i'm waiting for the full release,..
hmmm,... can you give me some sign about how much it cost? -
he charged $20USD for Subdivide and Smooth Plugin (http://www.smustard.com)
@thinkbuild - yeah, that's what I was thinking... I can see a BIM plugin for SU coming... but then, Whaat's way ahead of us on this I imagine. I hadn't thought it would be possible before seeing that vid. -
what an amazing soundtrack to your video
Whaat, that is truely a wonderful tool - drawing your own shapes and using them as a "follow-me-sort-of-line-thing-tool"... amazing!!!
@remus: here you have your completely new feature for SketchUp (as requested)
-
really MAGNIFICENT!!, something to look forward to!
-
Thanks for the encouraging responses! Sorry, but I will not be taking any more requests for beta testing. If you have already PM'd me, chances are good that I will send you a message in the coming weeks (be patient...) to give you further details.
I know there have been lots of questions about the plugin but I will have to keep a bit quiet for now
Cheers,
Dale -
Looks brilliant!
Can't wait. -
Wow... I'm loving this. I'm sold. I love the video comilation, and the music.
Well, I could have sworn I posted here already, but it's not showing up for me.
I was wondering, how does the profiling do with spiral, or helixes? A tube works fin in these, but with follow me if it something not radial, you'll see that face twists along the line whlie its traveling up the helix. This would be an important thing to consider if say, you're making a handrail for a spiral stair. The hand rail must stay oriented with the ground. Will this have an option for that? And will all those different profiles shown in there be availiable, as well as adding our own?

druel this will be amazing!
If only there was a good way of producing good quality construction drawings from SketchUp it'd be bye bye ArchiCAD, Revit and AutoCAD!! -
Whaat - you are an absolute genius. You seem to produce scripts that others can only dream of. This is beyond the expectations and prbably vision of most people. Forget SU7, you are a one man SketchUp enhancing machine!
For me, this has taken the gloss off SU7. It makes me think that Google just need to keep developing the core featurres (multi-core, shadow fix - predictably) and leave you and the other 'Ruby elite' to expand the feature set.
I'll buy this for definite!
-
Impressive, i know what i will be purchasing when it comes out
-
I would love to own this, please keep us updated when you plan to release it. Awesome job!

Just absolutely amazing; I'll be buying this one for sure.
I can't believe how much easier much of my work will become when you release it.
As kannonbal said "I'll be buying this for sure.

DaleMate I don't think you ever have to say sorry for anything!
Seriously what you have bought to the SU community and I'm sure will continue to (sure hoping) exceeds all expectations and imaginations!
I feel everyone gains greater confidence that SU will be around for a long while yet whilst it's development is supported with such insight and foresight!

BRILLIANT WORK!

Amazing! This would be extremely useful for almost ANYONE using sketchup!
My only question is this: Will it work properly on macs? Almost 1/2 of the plugins I've found Don't.

If Im right it looks like you can select components and use a Profile builder similar to the "follow me" tool to drag components along a line or path. Imagine how fast one can draw a basic house model if adopting a similar idea here.
Attached is a brick house follow me example.
Utiler: are you saying you dont want this?
-
certainly will Jeff!!! all that needs to be sorted then is dimensioning and text then i can put BIM back in it's box and use it as a door stop.....
