[Plugin] SCF TOOLBARS
-
really MAGNIFICENT!, THANKS A LOT!
-
hi cad father, i love these toolbars everything u need!!!!
however that stair ruby in the archiland toolbar, always messes up the spiral stair, probably reading the beginning and end of the arch backwards or something??? in the skin rubie its asks you if the join is right then flips the normals on one profile if it wasnt, anyway you could implement that on the spiral stair rubie (or whoever coded it)???????
would really appreciate it, its so annoying building these stairs line by line when there is a tool to do it sitting right here on my screen
-
Freeagent, you're right - must be something to do with normals etc.
if i create two spirals (from the draw toolbar) then it works flawlessly. already if you just copy the two spirals without doing anything to them it doesn't work anymore (guess i should replace that icon with grow.rb from TIG)
have you tried it?
-
no but i really should, seems like a handy tool, when ever some one has a problem tig pops up and suggest they try grow ...
-
cadfather this is superb, thanks
-
Thanks Cadfather....these are awesome. I did notice that the Gabled and Hipped icons are reversed for the roof builder. Is there an easy way to fix this on my end?
-
one quick way is to swap (rename) the icons name inside cd_icons - i'll also be posting an update sometime soon
-
Dear Cadfather,
Thanks for amazing script. this is what i am waiting for a long time in SU. However, after i put your plug-in in SU (i did copy them directly to plugin folder), i got this eror message
Error Loading File BzRoundEdge.rb
undefined methodget_i18n_datfile_info' for Sketchup:ModuleError Loading File Sketchup.rb undefined method
get_i18n_datfile_info' for Sketchup:Moduleandand Bzroundedge no more working in mine. also after i opened SU again the message window poped up asking for dell resource cd something... it may be my mistake but do you or amyone have any idea what is a problem.
many thanks.
-
sounds strange to me (especially the dell cd). when in this kind of trouble i cannot stress enough the importance of trying the plugins on an empty plugins folder (after you backed up the old one) - and then importing the others bit by bit to see where the conflicts are.
but perhaps you did just that already?
-
hey Cad Dad, i have another qualm, in CD DRAWTOOLS with the "set construction point" tool shouldnt i be able to place a whole bunch of consecutive construction points without having to click the button again??? like the line tool where u just draw u dont have to click the line button after every segment?
-
and to make things worse i just niticed u cant set a short key to the tool
or the one from the projections tool set -
thanks for your quick advice. unfortunately, i did tried that. After i tried to copy plugin by plugin, there really is some conflict between Bzroundedge and your set of plugin. just wanna know that anyone here has a same problem or just only mine (but seem to be only my SU coz no one stated this problem -_-')

WOW, all these toolbars. Thanks a million. Just a question. Would it be possible that scripts that are used in a toolbar, be move to a separate directory, so one could remove the scripts from the plugins directory, making the pluging menu smaller.
Or have I missed something and they can be moved to another directory.
Again, thank for your toolbars.
Ken
Ken I only discovered the toolbar today and am having difficulty installing it correctly.. Ruby and SketchUp is new to me.
I'm asking for the favor of you telling me how to install Power Toolbar. The only one compatible with OSX.
I'd really appreciate your help here, it took me a few goes to get Sketchy Physics working.
A great deal of the toolbar is showing up but when I load it it tells me to go to smustard and get a progressbar.rb and drops this error sheet on me...SCF Toolbars
I'd be so grateful if you could help..JKL famusgorg@gmail.com -
Where are the toolbars? I can't find any file to download.
