I've got a problem with SU -> Kerky.

I made some grass png for use in a garden.
I import this in SU as "use as image"

When I export to Kerky it doesn't show up there.

      Can anyone help me?

      Regards,
      Ward

I've also had some problems with textures, where the format have been .png or .bmp...

I assume that you're using .png because you've assigned an alpha-channel to the bitmap - right..?? πŸ˜•
If not, then try to save it as a .jpg-format and try again...πŸ˜‰

If you are using an alpha-channel, I suggest that you simply copy the missing .png-file to the "TX_xxxxxxx" folder containing the bit-map textures exported from your scene and then use the KT Material Editor to add the texture to the Diffuse and Clip mapping channels manually...

If this still doesn't work, please note that some .png files can have problems with the alpha channel...
Have you tried re-creating the .png-file in PS or whatever application you normally would use..??

Hope this can help you further..!? πŸ˜‰

        Cheers
        Kim Frederik

Thanks for your quick reply Frederik!
(Aplha-channel? thanks to Wikipedia) Yes I'm trying to get some transparant grass in my model!

          Problem's gotten bigger now...
SU doesn't seem to export any "use as image" objects.
I've imported .png and .jpg to use as image in my SU model, but they don't seem to export to Kerky.
Not in the Kerky scene and no where to be found in the TX... folder.

          Help!

Can you post a small 'skippy' with this issue, cause I can't reproduce it... 😐

              Cheers

                Ok, thanks Frederik.
I'll try to make a few screenshots the next couple of days so I can explain the problem.

I can imagine that su2kt does not export images that have no geometry (i.e.inserted as images, not textures). I bet is you "exploded" the images then hid the edges and made components of them, they'd export properly.

                  Gai...
