Good stuff, looks pretty real, in as much as a dry stone teapot can.

The textures gone a bit weird on the handle though, im guessing thats just a problem with the SU UV mapping?

and to embed a video: [flash=widthxheight]URL[/flash]

Thanks remus, yeh the texture mapping messed up on the handle cause it's projected. I wanted to do a 360 of the teapot but it just wasn't possible. I still feel the image could have been displaced better, it still resembles a normal texture too much (but thats my fault for choosing the wrong texture). Still can't embed the video unfortunately..

Hmm, thought I could help out here πŸ˜• πŸ˜†

          [flash=640,480:2tnb73wk]http://www.youtube.com/v/xQWBCS3XtBE&hl=en&fs=1[/flash:2tnb73wk]

          there we go:

          [] go to youtube
          [
] on the right is a code to embed the movie
          [] copy http://www.youtube.com/v/xQWBCS3XtBE&hl=en&fs=1
          [
] and place it between the code given by remus

And to finally complete this post: very nice job! πŸ‘
Don't know if I would ever drink tea out of that, but it looks very cool

you have to substitute "widthxheight" with something like "425,355". also you have to turn this "watch?v=" in "v/".

              Hi Princedragoncock (what's in a name πŸ˜„ ),

              That animation looks very good.
The zooming in on the teapot is even kind of scary.
One would expect zooming in even further and discovering a fantastic microscopic life in there πŸ˜‰.

Very decent vid. You scored points πŸ‘ .

Oh I somehow expected the displacement was going to be animated!!!

Nice job though! Do you mind me asking how long it took to render out each frame from Vray???

Yes - go to output under options. Then select the animate checkbox. Then select frames per second. Then select output destination and save as jpeg. Render

Yeah ideally i wanted to do that actually, but because I couldn't really get my head around how to achieve that, I decided to go down the more basic route instead. maybe next week..
It took 10mins to render each frame btw - set primary engine to irradiance map - speeds things up

                        P of DC,

This is very on, and the addition of man glue making their frantic journey into the holy recesses of the killer cool moss tea kettle is simply awesome.

I will be showing this to all future curves.

                        Brew me a cup.

Thanks again guys πŸ˜‰ . The swimming 'man glue' is not my own unfortunately, it's an added segment I found on youtube and is credited at the end. I wonder what they used though..
