Nice tut

I hope you dont mind if i offer one tiny weeny little improvement you could do to speed up modelling the tyre...if you find the centre of the tyre before you delete all the segments, you could then do a rotational array about the centre to avoid having to do all the rotate and copy stuff.

question: around ~35seconds you make some shapes inside with the same shape, just scaled, in just 2 or 3 clicks. how to do that?

I think thats the offset tool he's using there, its a native SU tool so easy to play around with

remus is right: to find the centre try the "set centre point" plugin.
really good tut by the way.
