          thanks, stinkie.

if the multilight is similar to maxwell in it's funktion, and easy enough to use, I am going to shed tears of joy! 😍

Wow...Layer Blending is a much wanted feature for Indigo. 😍
In order to use it we will need to wait for Whaat implementing it in Skindigo though, as I can't see how we can assign a light to a layer with the current plugin.

I hope Ono sendai will also change the way Indigo handles the Sketchup geometry for displacement in a next release.

Now there's not really much left to add to Indigo in order to level with the commercial unbiased engines.

Yes, there is: the ram footprint. Other than that, Indigo's goood.

Any suggestions on how to implement this in Skindigo are welcome. I have no experience using this feature in other rendering engines so I need some ideas.

Not to take away your excitement but keep in mind:

                1. I am incredibly busy right now and may not be able to properly update Skindigo for a month or so.
                2. You can expect a lot of bugs with the latest beta of Indigo and you might get frustrated using it. Ono made a lot of major changes

That being said, the new features look great and will take Indigo to a whole new level. (Finally, we can tonemap while rendering!)

                Cheers!

Actually the 'layer blending' principle it is quite simple.
Each emitting material can be assigned to a different 'layer'.
When rendering, each layer will have a slider in the Indigo Render screen to adjust strength.

So basically, all that needs to be done is creating the option to assign a layer number to a (emissive) material.
