Set Default Startup Screen

Is there any way to set your startup work space screen. I had it set some how on my other computer but can not remember how exactly I did it. Screen shot I'm looking for is top view white work space. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to Window (menu) > Preferences > Templates. The one you are looking for is called "2D" something (choose units and such as well).
