3DBC Tuesday Evening Meetup

I'm thinking Chili's might be a good choice - they have a wide variety of foods and can have a fun atmosphere.
Here's a map showing the Hotel Avante and Chili's in the same view - they are about 3 miles apart on El Camino Real.
Hotel Avante is at "A" and Chili's is at "B". 7pm @ Chili's.
We can start congregating @ Hotel Avante ~ 6:30 and then car pool / cab pool to Chili's about 10 minutes before 7. Or, you can go straight to Chili's. First one there for the "SketchUp Party" get a big table or two.
Chili's is at 2560 W El Camino Real , Mountain View.

I will be there as well. I am flying in from Australia on Sunday. I am staying in the Hotel Zico in mountain view. I have organised a rental car but I may leave it at the hotel as I am not used to driving on the right side of the road and it sounds as though there may be a few beers flowing. Anyone else staying at the Zico who doesnt drink and is used to driving on the wrong (right) side of the road please feel free to let me know....

I (and those who are presenting) will be staying at Grand Hotel - about 1 mile from Avante. See your "updated" map, Todd, here. I also added Wild Palms Hotel where Mark (and maybe some other folks) will be staying.
I will arrive at about the midnight before o I will definitely be there (and I guess earlier at Avante since I will be meeting with Mike and later probably Coen there). Anyway, when checked in, let's share each others' room phone numbers so that we can easily access each other later.
Mike will also have some "surprise" for you guys (well, hopefully - a bit of a problem with the logistics)
Is anyone flying from NY JFK to San Francisco Int'l Airport on flight (Delta Air Lines) DL 0073 on the 9th departing at 8:10 pm? Wouldn't be that boring if we could chat.

I'm not attending 3DBC, but I'll drive down from my work place in San Rafael to join to festivities. I'll probably meet you at Chilli's since it'll be a bit a of drive already.

I hardly draw "in real life" or in Internet parlance, irl. But I'll bring my beat up sketchbook, that will show off my crummy sketches. I do make up for that by pasting SU printouts in it. -
I hope there will be another get together on the 12th and meet y'all as my flight gets in too late on Tuesday evening to meet.

As far as I know Avante has (a free?) transfer from San José.

That is not what they told me when I called them. They only gave me a referral to a taxi service they recommend.

My Alaska Airlines, Flight 2627, arrives at San Jose around 11:35-12:00(noon) on Tuesday. I suspect it will be around 1:00 before arriving at the Hotel Avante.
Anyone with a car be around by then to make an Airport run?

I arrive in San Jose at 1:00 pm on Tuesday so I should be at the Hotel by 2 or so. Diner at Chili sounds great. Is there anything going on later in the afternoon Maybe at the hotel lobby we'll run into each other.

I'll be out of pocket for most of the afternoon on Tuesday - maybe getting to my Hotel (Grand) around 5-ish.

I'll be arriving at SF around 1:30 PM, and I'll take one of the airport shuttle services to the Avante. I'll probably be in the Avante lobby around 6:00 or so, if anyone wants to share a taxi to Chili's with me.
