I put into this poll a couple of macro categories, but the list could be enlarged. So suggestions are welcome.

Ummm, if you've read the many recent posts on SU 7, you might have noted that the development team let slip that there is an in-house beta (meaning that Google employees only are seeing it). In my understanding of software development cycles, I take thatto mean that a "new feature freeze" is now in effect. Whatever changes, improvements, or additions have been made to SU, they have already been made, and they are now looking for major bugs in their implementation.

Poll away, but it's fairly pointless.

Honestly, if SketchUp won't do the job for you there are many more capable, more expensive, and more difficult to use programs available. Shell out the big bucks, go take some expensive training courses, and high-poly-model your way to heaven, if you feel like it or really need such features.

I perfectly know the poll won't have any effect on Google Sketchup development policy, but however it's interesting to see what are customers most wanted improvements

                Nonsense.

Since when did SCF become a forum for whining?

Lewis is right about other soft being more suited for high poly modeling.
But it doesn't make it wrong to ask for things people want to see implemented.

The 'SU wishlist' is a tradition. Even on the old @Last forum, the SU wishlist threads were always fun and usual very very very looong. 😉
Some traditions need to stay alive...
It is part of the excitement we have before an upcoming release.

And 'Whining', yeah. Should be possible too 😄
