New concept of Saigon Bus Station

this is competition of re-build Saigon Bus Station. this competition is organized by Blue Scope Steel Company and only for architecture student.
in May 21 the result will come... I'm waiting for that
the concept is the slogan "our times are changing vigorously" of my country - Vietnam, with image of Miron discus-thrower statue.

Fred, I was thinking the same thing myself, No way one would be able to construct something like that where I live. The wind pulls up trees off the ground at times.

Indeed very good tensile structure. How do you model it? Soap skin and bubble? ...windowizer?yes , that's it.
I use "soap-skin-bubble" and "tube-along-path"
why do you think "windowizer" ? I dont realize how that plugin help me in this tensile structure.

I'm not very found of it but I think windowizer could transform a flat mesh into a 3d structural grid... like yours.
