Although some of you have indicated that I can export in PDF and open the vector image by right clicking, I don't see that in the menu. I also do not understand the "Get Pro Exporter" command. I see a list with things "x'd" and not "x'd." But I don't see the process. My interest is moving to vector as efficiently as possible.

Moving through TIFF, I can get the jagged line minimized from he coarse resolution, but it is not efficient.

      Thanks.

The Google free version of SketchUp only offers a couple export options. For 3d it offers a format used in Google Earth, and 2D only jpg. To get exporters of other formats you've got to get the pay version, SketchUp Pro. Thus the "Get Pro Exporters" option.

May all your dimensions be the sum of their total.

then you should have the exporters, if you et in contact with google im sure they'll sort you out with the neccesary files. You could PM craigD of these forums if you get stuck looking for the right person to contact.

I'm not sure exactly how the student version works. I believe it's on an annual contract. If you haven't yet authorized it, it will still behave like the free version. Check Help > License > License Info.

Also, you may have only installed the free version. If so, download the Pro version (which contains the exporters), install it (you can install it "upon" the free version) and then go to Help > License and enter your student license info there.

Two things seem out of wack here.

Yes, I have a license printed out with serial number and key and expiration date etc. i got that through my schools email.

I do not see any opportunity to enter it manually or to "paste" it in as the instructions indicate.

I am on a Mac, and there are also instructions ( I think for windows) saying I should "run as an administrator." I do not see that option.

Am I supposed to pay for the exporters separately? On the help screens I did see some connected sites that dealt with things like 3D PDF files...

EPS, or PDF are my goals.

                  Thanks,

                  John D

John, NO. You should not pay extra for the exporters - practically they are the only difference between Free and Pro.

Unfortunately I'm on a PC (Windows) so I'm a bit stumped here but if you have installed the Pro version onto your computer (and again - install the Pro version!), there should be a place to enter your license info. That's it and no other problems.
