      i think it would be much better if orbit was split into 2 tools-to spin vertically and one to spin horizontally, and there would be the option of manually placing the center of the orbit.

        Perosnally i think that would be a bit cumbersome, i mean i dont really have a problem with the current system.

        Saying that i think manually being able to place the cntre of rotation would be quite cool, especially when editing groups/compnents.

            I remember someone brining up the idea of a modifier key to lock the orbit tool to vertical/horizontal motion only. dont know, where it was though.

              it would be useful if the walk tool would show a mark on the ground where it is.

                It would be of no use unless you're looking at where your feet would be when "walking".

                  There is FlightPath (free) and its commercial, more advanced sister, Fight Path2 or even (the also commercial) PresentationBundle that can do that and even much more (more exactly you can set the path prior to the scenes and allow your camera to move along).
