Creating objects automatically

Hi everybody,
I would like to create e.g. cubes automatically. The parameters how many cubes, the distances of these cubes to each other and the dimensions of these cubes (all cubes will have the same size) are calculated with MS Excel.
I want to create a SketchUp file or a drawing with these parameters automatically.Is it possible? How?

Create your cube and use the "Grow" ruby script by Tig
Save on your computer as Grow.rb and place it inside the folder plugins -

Now is it possible not to create the cubes not manually but with another plugin? -
