i am having a weird problem when exporting images from SUp: the image is always smaller than what i see on the screen.

what could possibly be the reasons for that and how to fix it? my workaround has been to emcompass much more that what i want to see in the exported image and crop the excess later on.

there must be a better way to do that.

besides, the exported image tends to be a little foggy, ie, much less vivid than what appears in SUp.

the exported image with the sides cut off

the image as it appears on screen

Are you using a resolution thats the same aspect ratio as your monitor?

        remus,

you may have nailed it: the monitor's is 1.6 whereas the resolution's is 1.44.

now, what should i do? change the resolution to fit the monitor's aspect ratio?

        thanks.

If you check the box in export options that says "viewport size" to see what your aspect ratio is, if you thne keep any image exports you do in the same aspect ratio (obviously with "use viewport size" unchecked)

As an example, say i ticked use viewport size, and it said my screen was 100x200, if you then keep any exports you do in the same ratio, so 200x400, 300x600 etc then they should come out the right size and with no cropping.
