A simple one from Maya -- it repeats what you last did (whatever that may be). It was very handy at times.

(This could probably be an easy Ruby script to make)

absolutely - been looking for that too. repeat last command is a wonderful tool, i use it a lot in coreldraw, e.g. CTRL-R
the way it works in coreldraw is for example if you duplicate an element then move it, then adjust it a bit, it will remember the offset, so tapping CTRL-R will repeat the duplication, with the same distance.
the trick is to only save the state of the change after a second or two it has been done, to make sure the command repeats relative to the original and not just the fine-tuning.

this exists as a double click for most things, like offset and push pull, just double click the next surface and it remembers your offset. for moving things, usually your cursor will snap at the previously entered dimension the next time you draw.

The CorelDRAW function works very well for dynamically producing arrays too. For instance, you don't always know how many repeats (of fixed spacing) it's going to take to get from A to B, so typing something into the VCB is just guesswork. It's so much easier to just keep your fingers down on Ctrl+R until you get there.

10 years later and still no repeat command?
Is there any chance somebody might spend some time and make it?
Rhino has it as well and once you get used to it it's verrry handy!!!
