I saw some video of this robot awhile ago, stumbling around like your typical robot but boy has it improved! Pretty incredible world we live in these days ..

Watched it Joe. Looks very weird but pretty advanced at
the same time. When I look at the legs, the front set look
like a man walking backwards and the back legs a man walking
forwards ..... or was it the other way around!

Yeah pretty incredible isn't it! Definitively looks alive in its movements!

Amazing how it's able to navigate that terrain.

I think creepy is right. That creature is so weird to watch, like when it slipped on the ice, wow. It's extremely quick reactions to the various terrains are whacked.

              Thats spooky!

Now with that technology and the US military budget, I can see a tactical version of the above coming to a war near you soon .

That is amazing, so animalistic. Have you seen this? I thought it was fake, but the general consensus seems to be that it is real. There are quite a few videos.

Its walking motion looked like one of those show horses, the recovery after being kicked/on ice looked like a deer and the shot of it jumping over the mat looked like a goat, very impressive. The bit I was stunned by was when it walked THROUGH the snow, it knew what it was and that if it put its 'feet' through it, it would eventually hit a solid surface!

Wouldn't this make a brilliant Mars rover?

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark allies, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

I did find it kind-a disturbing when the guy kept kicking it. 😞 You can see how if someday lifelike robots become common there will likely be a movement to give them 'rights' to protect them from mistreatment.

Another thing about the clip is it is funny how from some angles it really does look like its two people in a strange suit. Those views have a 'Monty Python' feel about them. Nit.

                    Regards, Ross

                        ASPCR... 🤣

When Big Dog was on ice I felt like I was looking at some post-apocalyptic Bambi taking his first steps.
