[WIP]Game Design Project

Well... hello
I'm into a game project for about 2-3 months allready, and i wanted to show
you guys what it has become till now, everything you'll see is modelled by me:
the buildings, the island, roads,...
But the island is way to low-poly on some parts so that still needs some improvements
aswell the vegetation textures arn't at it's best for the Games of today.

really nice stuff johannes, especially for straight SU output (im assuming it is straight SU...) seems youve got a good balance between detail and the use of textures. Will be nice to see the project a few more months down the line.

These can't be Sketchup output?!? Sketchup doesn't do soft shadows, right?

@Bubbalove: Some of these renders are quickly taken with Podium, that's why there are soft shadows

The islands pics reminded me a little bit some of the GTA maps (I'm a fan).

Well, it's not a CS map, it's more a map for GTA SA, we're making a mod (total conversion), we'll change everything, islands, cars, effects, missions,...
We're allready a project running on some GTA Forums, but we wanted to show off here some exclusive content, because we're actually working "behind the scenes" now, tough i wanted to
show something... so that's why i posted it here

Here a litlle bit of progress, hadn't got alot of time these days...

As you can see there's a big halfcircle of free space in the highway's corner...
I really don't know what to do with it... maybe a very litlle industrial space?

Looks awesome. I'd love to know where you got the plugin. Or did you first convert the model to 3ds max?

We've first converted it to 3DS Max, tough it got's no lighting... So it quite sucks alot at the moment...

Nothing is prefect at first I know it will get better as you finish tweaking still a thums up
