Thanks guys, and especially Susan .... I thought I was not
your 'handsome old(er) devil' there for while
Feeling quite good at 57, even got the initial 'all clear'
from the Doc today however I still have to have my prostate
and blood checks on Tuesday next.A little story about my Doc visit. I phoned yesterday to
arrange my usual annual checkup and could not get an app
with my regular guy. The Doc that I did see was excellent
and the same age as me although in better shape weight wise
(I currently a stone = 14lbs overweight). I expressed my
usual concerns about the prostate (Dad died of prostate
cancer a few years ago) and he now insists on the old rubber
glove inspection ....... eeeeeerrrrr. I was a bit taken back
but have set it up for next Tuesday.Guys, please don't put prostate tests on the long finger it
is a major cause of early death in men in their 60s but if
caught in time the prognosis is very good. So as we say over
here when having a drink of having a prostate exam ... Bottoms
Up!Mike
