Taking data and projecting it can be dangerous...
At 100k new-flu cases per week forecast in the UK by around early September, and assuming that it grows exponentially each week...
100k
200k
400k
800k
1,600k
3,200k
6,400k
12,800k
52,600k
Since there's around 60,000k people in the UK... some time in early November everyone should have it !!!
Even larger populations will become saturated in a few weeks to just over a month afterwards (merry Xmas)...
e.g. US has say 300,000k and China or India have around 1,000,000k people each...
105,200k
210,400k
420,800k
841,600k
1,683,200k
The world has a bit over 6,000,000k people... so everyone in the world we get the new-flu around the start of 2010 - happy new year !!!
3,366,400k
6,732,800k
...
We're all doomed, doomed !!!
