Well, my mom has this thing called a surger(call me ignorant, but I have no idea what it does). It looked complex enough so I thought I would give it a try πŸ’š . This is just a WIP... I'll post the final image as soon as I'm finished! πŸ˜„

serger: a sewing machine that overcasts the raw edges of a fabric with a V-shaped stitch

I always thought it looked like some kind of torture device. Out of curiosity, what did you think it was used for?

I was thinking it was some kind of rope braider... and imagined 3 or 4 twines going to one... via the center to the top pole... looked like something you could easily get caught up in...

The detail on this model is great. My mother in law uses a surger quite a bit. Actually she showed me how to use it when I made "Trumpet Bags". Just fleece material that you slip your instrument into for extra protection in a large gig bag.

Great first run on the rendering too Bruce.

                              Brothers, and Sisters,

The inside of my skull is blistered.

Kick Sam to the Jack bird head boards, I want to do that machine!

I've been held in a small tree break, some spark meat issues remain to be "ironed out," but I'll work it.
