Here are some renders from a little project I put together as an entry for a virtual design contest at Lumberjocks woodworking website http://lumberjocks.com. The contest was to get woodworkers to use or sharpen their skills with Sketchup. Here is a link to my entry on the site http://lumberjocks.com/jocks/Brad_Nailor/blog/2002, and to all the enrtys http://lumberjocks.com/blogs/tag/challenge03.
I Modeled the table in Sketchup, and rendered it with Podium 1.41.

I love the concept, and the Empire state theme works well. Congrats on being selected with the winning group.

              Nicely done,
I'm really impressed with the fact that with just 2 colours/timbers you created an instantly recognizable representation of the Empire State Building.

Also I like the fact that the legs are definitely holding the top up as opposed to them 'hanging' down from the top.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark allies, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

This looks great, I like it. The exploding effect looks really good.

                  awesome...

excellent detail and a beautiful concept.

perhaps the table top should be glass so you can admire the legs... lol

Thanks for all the comments everyone! πŸ‘ I would love to build this table, but I dont have the room in my house....and the wife, although she loves the table design says it dosn't "fit" with our decor...women! I am thinking I might do a 1/4 scale model of it...just so I can see it get built!

Yes, and you can seat some Wall Street action figures at the table.

I would love to have a crack at building it as well. My wife does want a new dining set...
