Wow I can't believe it...All my family are from the Clonmel area (Powerstown to be exact)as well and I am currently doing up a property I bought there in town...it's a small world I'am living in London at the moment. I'am usually over there every couple of months. My brother-in-law owns the Halfway House pub at Rathronan just outside Clonmel, our local when we are over there. Might see ya for a pint when we are over next......
I'm a bit of a blow-in myself, origionally from out the road in Fethard, and will soon be moving across the river to Co Waterford. Can't say I was ever in the Halfway House, but pass it regularly on the way to Fethard. Small world alright.

Hey all, from Dublin but study architecture in Queen's University Belfast. Anyone here actually get to use skecthup in the real world or do you find yourselves forced to use autocad? That's the impression I get from my lecturers anyway
-
cool, I'm looking to get into a more efficient acad-su workflow for next year. So I assume you do all the plans and elevations in autocad and then import the plan for the 3d into su? But how about doing all the plans, elevations etc in sketchup and then exporting to acad? or is that too messy?

Hi guys. I'm from Dublin but living and working in Kenya for 11 years. Been Sketchupping for a couple of years but pretty new to these boards.
