How to remove 'inside' polygons?
-
When I create a shape...like a rocket, I use the push/pull tool with CTRL key to keep adding sections. How can I remove the 'inside' disc polygons? TIA. Chipp

Have you tried moving to the inside of the model and zoom in on the disc polygon, selecting it (not the bounding edges, just the surface) and deleting it? Alternatively put a section through the the middle of the rocket and simply move up / down and select the disc polygon surfaces and delete them.

Coen,
You da man! thanks a bunch. That's just what I needed...Group erase.

Well, Coen beat us both in creating that great tut and in posting the link.

Great tut, thanks very much!

Great tut, clear, well annotated and nicely paced.

Nice Coen.
Another way is to turn off your edges, window around your faces (xray view) and delete.

A very marginally quicker modification of Boo's method is to just use a selection window around the face (including the outer edge) and then de-select the outer edge by double shift clicking one of the outer connected faces.
