I was looking at the SU support page and I couldn't find any way of emailing SU supprt. Only found FAQ and forums.

Is there no way to formally submit a bugreport? I've used the bugsplat feature in SU when it appears, but I've never gotten any replies from them. And what if I want to submit an example model?

            Hi Tom,

Follow the appropriate links here (I guess >>> Google SketchUp Pro and then >>> Report a bug ).

Note that your system automatically sends the bugsplat to the SU Team (unless it is blocked somehow) and they probably deal with them - they might just not have enough time to answer each individually (here , where you can start from, it says that they might contact you with further questions - not info).

Should your system not send the bugsplat automatically, it will always warn you about this and you can find the bugsplat info as a zip file somewhere in your Temp folder (I se you're on Windows).

Make sure you bookmark that page if you are such a busplatter! 😉

Remus is also right - you can always PM any of the Google Team members here or post your bugsplat here and the beta team members will make sure to bring it up in the beta forum linking to your message here in the SU Bugs subforum).

            Gai...

Thanks. I'm currently working with a model that keeps crashing when I Drape and sometimes it doesn't give a Bug Splat, SU just disappear. http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7626

I wanted to send a proper bug report about this instead of just a random comment on the forum.

                Dear Gaieus,

Many of the more experienced modellers still seem to be using Version 5. Why is this? Is it more stable/faster than Version 6?

                Regards,
                Bob

Well, Bob, some say they experience slower performance with SU6 - others say SU6 is faster. For animation some still use SU4 because there they had a (temporary) fix for the irritating shadow flickering. I started with SU5 (free) and only purchaesed the Pro license when SU6 came out so there are many pro features I cannot compare (most of these features are now included into the free version, too).

But that's a different story - at the end we'll end up hijacking Tom's thread...
