[Plugin] Sine Wave

How can I use this plugin?
I have installed it and I can see it in my plugin folder.
Could you give me some tips?

Sorry stef, I am only seeing this post today. Does the plugin show up in your Plugins menu?

Thank you for your answer.
I can see in my plugin menu.
when I insert the number in "lenght, amplitude and segment" I have the same straight line beginning from the centre....
I don't know...
Probably I have to play more with it.

I am a novice using Sketchup make 2014 (free), but am slowly learning.

I have used your sine wave generator to create a repetative sine wave line successfully.

What I am trying to do is to take a rectangle and add the sine wave line within the rectangle and then erase excess material so my rectangle has a sine wave edge. I will then pull the shape up 1/2" to form my item.

The resulting form will be exported as a stl file for 3D printing.

My problem is that the sine wave form line will not join to the rectangle. When I select a section to erase it erases the entire rectangle. Is there some way to join the sine wave line to the rectangle?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The sine curve is made inside a group.
This allows you to position it after it's created - otherwise it might stick to other geometry.
You can Select that group and use the context-menu Explode, so it merges with any geometry around it.
