Another use of the balustrade with componets
-
I just had a thought so I gave it a try..
...Draw any type of line..
...Then use the "balustrade with componets" ruby...
...When the first section appears simply enter none and all 0s...
...When the 2nd box appears, enter your measurments..
...and then refine as needed..I think its pretty cool and my thanks to who wrote that ruby...

Thanks for the tip, must give that a try.

hi 3eighty,
where i can try that ruby?thanks b4

Hi, you can download it here.
There's also a pdf manual in the zip file - follow the instructions to install and use the script. -
I thought I'd give this a try and instaled the plugin. If I don't have a line/edge selected I get the "No selection, Select lines please" message. If I do have a line or two selected, nothing pops up. What am I missing?
-
Dave not quite sure what you are doing??? Do you get the first box at all?
-
Nope. The only response I get is if I try to run the script without selecting anything first.
-
Dave> Sorry, I don't know what to tell you..I just did it again and it worked great..Attached is a picture of the shape and the settings I used..They were random..

Hi,
I have the same problem as Dave. I have already tried everything.I also studied the manual again and again. If i select one or two lines, nothing happens. I do not get it to work. If i use a Panel Component, named PA as described in the manual i get the message: (See Image below). The version is : 1.1 & 1.2. - November 2005. I think this is the actual version.
