Scaling/grouping changes

Not sure how difficult/easy this would be to implement, but itd be really cool if SU could create the bounding box for a group based on its dimensions rather than its orientation to the axis.
As an example, if you draw a rectangle then rotate it by 30 degrees. If yu then group this the bounding box is aligned to the axis which makes everything (including scaling) a lot more annoying. What im trying to say is, would it be possible to make the bounding box line up with the rectangle?

You know, you can fix that, if you quickly convert that group to a component(which is just a right-click)...just right-click (again!) on the new component and choose "Change Axes" from the context menu. Align the new axes to the bounding box edges that you want and you're set.
I actually like things the way they are, so that I can change the orientation of the bounding box without affecting the component contents, but then I'm a little odd about the way I use SketchUp.

Cheers for the tip lewis, but its still a workaround

I would be totally happy, if the bounding boxes of groups would allign to the actual axes.
if you change your axes (for example to fit a house into an existing survey model and still be able to refer to the house's axes), SketchUp still alignes the bounding boxes of new groups to the original axes.
that can drive you mad (and made me cheat with the compass orientation instead of rotating the building to its correct orientation).but your idea sounds interesting too.
