Can you please recomend the best book for an student to learn Sketchup.

Aidan chopra has a couple of good books out which ae both good. I dont know any other than these, but they are good.
If your looking for learning resources, the videos that are linked in the stickies at the top of this page are always a good source of info.

Ah yeah, and I also have Aidan Chopra's "SketchUp for Dummies". Excellent book for a beginner and is supported by his video tuts mentioned above.
