Difference in angular precison between Windows and Mac OS
-
Hi folks.
On SU for Windows (SU 6.4.112), the angular precision can be set up to 0.001°.
On SU for Max OS X (SU 6.4.120), the angular precision is maxed out at 0.1°.
Why this difference ?
Best regards.

i didn't know that about windows..
one thing i noticed with osx sketchup is you can get more precise than .1 if you enter the angle in the vcb..
for instance, use the protractor to create a guide line at 25.1 deg.. now do it again but enter 25.15 in the vcb and you'll see both guide lines albeit very close to each other.. if you try to measure the angle of the 25.1deg line, it will show correctly but if you try to measure the 25.15 deg line, it will show up as ~25.2...so yeah, the ability to measure angles at smaller increments is there so i'm not sure why osx won't display the angle more precisely

as an example.. i used the protractor and entered the degrees in the vcb... i then panned very far away from the original point and zoomed in... you'll see that the lines were able to be drawn more precisely than .1
