      Rrrrridddges. πŸ˜„

The file is a bit high poly and has a glitch being scaled down from creating it but here you go.

No tut with it either, just the model. Basically I did the same as you Brad except for the arc on the side I made a high segment count. Then drew an arc from each endpoint alternating the bulge. Afterwards I offset the ridges then continued just like you did.

Thanks for adding a tutorial by the way. Much appreciated. πŸ‘

Dang! Beat me to it . . . but I think the ridges go "long ways" . . . eh?

i'm pretty sure the ridges are like green toasters.. otherwise, the chip would break in half too easily while dipping...

            here's a pringle's style chip..
basically the same thing you did with and extra curve thrown into the mix..

Jeff, I think your chip is more realistic, captures the shape more accurately than the original one I did in post #1. All this chip modeling really makes me hungry for the real thing. : πŸ˜†

Ha ha, that is great. Either way the ridges go they still taste the same πŸ˜„

Actually they go diagonally according to this picture...

                  I wanna play too.

I added some texture to each of your chips, then created a imperfect one and rendered it.

Some folks just got WAY TOO MUCH time on their hands. β˜€

May all your dimensions be the sum of their total.
