I think he might mean what render option (x-ray / wire frame / hidden line / shaded / shaded with textures / monochrome) people use when modeling.

I'd like a window with North light. I'd rather like the view to be good or at least interesting. I'd also hope the window wasn't drafty.

This looks like a nice window in which to work...

Hehe. You got it! (I also like her, Ross) πŸ˜„

Well, for me perspective mode is more "natural" than anything else. I mostly switch to parallel projection and any of the standard views only when I need to carefully select geometry.

                  Gai...

                      Hi folks.

I work 99 % of the time with perspective on.

I work with all kind of orientation, constantly orbiting, zooming, panning even while drawing, copying, whatever. It is like doing a sculpture when you manipulate the object while working on it. SU allows this kind of flexibility and I use it a lot.

                      Just ideas.

Jean (Johnny) Lemire from Repentigny, Quebec, Canada.

I model in perspective, with textures turned on. Occassionally I will temporarily switch to ortho mode or x-ray when selecting, but always revert back to perspective.
